LOVE: THE WAY TO VICTORY


I just typed a text, pouring all my heart into it, reading it over and over, waiting to get the prompt to click on the "send" button. Yes, this was just me expressing how I felt. They should know they have hurt me so much that I can't afford to drink what was stored in the cup alone. I did. I sent it and, after three hours, felt really awful. I apologised and headed on to delete the text. 

It can be really hard to not want to retaliate when you are hurt and under pressure. I know that, but you see, that is not what God expects from us as his children. We are to keep walking in love irregardless of the circumstances.

In Isaiah 42:16 (NKJV), God promises, "I will lead them in paths they have not known." I will make darkness light before them, and crooked places straight. These things I will do for them, and not forsake them'. Just because you don't recognize the path you're on doesn't mean that God's not leading you. He can make you comfortable in the most uncomfortable places and give you peace in the midst of trauma. X-raying the story of Joseph, he didn't allow what his brothers did to him to get on his way, but rather: 

1. He saw it from God's perspective; he released his resentment. He moved beyond it and ministered to the needs of those who had hurt him.


2. He refused to become a victim of other people's actions. As a result, God made him "ruler over all..." Egypt (Genesis 45:8)


3. He prepared for his future by excelling in his prophetic and administrative gifts despite the fact that he was in prison.


Trust God and trust the process of healing. He loves us and wouldn't have us remain in this state.


Spending quiet time with God is essential to restoring your body, your mind, and your emotions. Work your schedule around God; don't try to work God in around your schedule. That being said, a friend, the Influential Princess, will be organizing a prayer titled "The Release with HS". The Holy Spirit is indeed one. Currently as a favorite on of my playlist, I have a million little miracles by Maverick City. I rate it a 10/10. It gets me into this worship atmosphere every time I listen.

And also, I just completed Believer's Authority, yayy. Getting to read has been really hard these days because of my workload, but I make sure I don't go for a week without completing half of a book.

It broke my knees

 Lately , God has been teaching me what it looks like to really submit, versus what we have termed it to be. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding.
