Here's a reminder: God is working behind the scene.

🍓 Your Favorite Bible Prescription 🍓

so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
Isaiah 55:11 KJV

I just loosened my weaved hair for my wash day when I heard the news that there'd be an increase in tuition. I just brushed it off after dad told me because I felt my school was just trying to pull our legs together to hear the next day that the increment was confirmed. I told God how I trusted Him to take care of it and didn't bother worrying until nothing was coming in and things were pretty tight at home. I would cry out of my eyes every night; I didn't tell anyone how I felt at that time. I was doing the strong girl thing and encouraging veryone around me that God was going to provide, but in my closet, it is a strong girl gone soft. POV: 2nd Kings 1:9-18 😌

It kept on and on until I spoke with my pastor, and she said something that struck me: "God knew they'd increase the tuition fees ahead of time; He knows the ending from the beginning, and He knows you need to complete what has begun, so you don't have to worry; it is settled". A few days into the month of September, my dad told me how he had sent the money to my account, and all I needed to do was pay.

I was so grateful to God. Then, again, I heard that the hostel fees were also increased. I wasn't so bothered about this because I remembered the words of my pastor. School resumption is here, and all I can do is look up to Jesus, the author and finisher of my faith.

There's so much going on in the world; times are tough, and people are going through so much. People are finding it hard to feed; children are barely struggling to survive in school. In all of these, God is good. He will definitely show up for those who trust in him. Things might not be going your way; you prayed, but the situation isn't changing. Here's a reminder: God is working behind the scene. He might not take away the problem, but He would make a way through it, just like He didn't remove the Red Sea for the Israelites but rather made a way through it.

Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree. For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant; even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.
Isaiah 56:3‭-‬5 KJV

The devil is doing all he can to shift our focus from God, sending different circumstances to draw us away from seeking God but rather earthly glories. He knows he has such a short time that all he has to do is distract people so they can fall below the standard. This is the time when God is counting on us more. There's no better time to practice faith, hope, and charity than now.

And even when things still don't go our way, God is good, regardless!📍
