Out of a Grateful Heart
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV
These are the things I am grateful for this year:
● Waxing stronger in spirit
● Waxing stronger in spirit
● Waxing stronger in spirit
● My journey into God
2023 marks the second year I joined the online space. And that year, I had to let go of hopes I was holding onto due to the fact that I didn't like the way things were going for me and felt if I worked harder and "blow" and "become popular," things would get better for me and my family. I was working really hard, doing the multi-potentialities duty, and still wasn't satisfied. In late May, I received an instruction to let go of all I was doing and give Christ my full attention. It was quite hard at first (I would have to let go of bearing the titles I had earned, "professional ballet dancer, writer, brand designer, artist, campus journalist").
Things weren't getting any better, so I gave in the long run. I can tell that this is the best decision I made this year. I have peace like never before, and I no longer worry about tomorrow. I have placed it in the hands of the one who owns it. One thing is for sure: if God is in it, it'll unravel beautifully. I no longer worry about my end (I know someone who has seen the end ahead of time; He gives the leg for the end). I can tell how God is so intentional about me; each step of the way I keep seeing contents that are aligned. The best part is that He surrounded me with really "beautiful people".
This is just the beginning, and I am super excited! 🦋
